IHC

IHC, a method in the lab, is based on the immunological principle of antibodies, binding to molecules on the surfaces of cells, bacteria, and viruses (antigens), applied to histological samples taken from blood, tissue fluids, and tissues, organs and tumors. Antibody specific coloring techniques are then used to highlight the existence (or absence) of antigens.
